Films I watched recently

I recently traveled to Hanover to visit my best and closest mate from Britain. We decided to spend the rest of the evening watching a few DVDs, so we went to his favourite DVD shop t rent 2 films. Luckily I got to choose, otherwise I may have had been doomed to watch Harry Potter. J. is an ardent Harry Potter fan, no wonder being from near York o_O. He even called me a freak, a nutter for not being as fanatic about it as he is...

Anyway, the first film I chose was one I never had heared of before. It is called 'The Man from Earth'. J. looked at the DVD cover and went "That looks like a rubbish film." But I was insistent muharrharrharr!! When the film began I felt like I had to apologise to him, as it turned out to be a chitchat film, with ONE location and a group of actors..well...acting!
Of course it was exactly that, but the topic, the theme left the both of us too excited to not finish watching it! The dialogues and the acting was so good, plus the whole idea of a man having lived for 14,000 years!! Brilliant...plus the main actor was H-O-T ;-)



The second I got to choose was 'In Bruges' with Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes. Right, neither me nor J. are big fan of Colin, but the story was great fun as well as quite tragic! Watch thyselves...
