"Eddie Izzard has announced his first UK standup tour in six years. He is hitting the road in October with his Stripped show, which he performed in a celebrated five-week residency at the Lyric theatre in London's West End last year.
The tour includes a number of large-capacity arenas and will finish with dates at the O2 and the Wembley Arena in December. Tickets for the Lyric shows sold out within 48 hours, so fans should snap up seats fast. Further tickets may be added at a later date."
I am glad to hear that Eddie hasn't completely forgotten about his UK fans. It was getting a little annoying in the past to hear US fans complain that he had not come to state so-an-so, or village so-and-so...excuse me? What were those guys complaining about. Eddie was not seen in his home country for ages.
So, yes...great he's making a return to his roots. Eddie you were greatly missed here!!
