... is a fantastic sequel (or should I say prequel) of the Bond saga. It is full of action, wit and full body contact fighting (which I'd dare to consider as a feature that is outshining the era's Connery, Moore and even Brosnan!). No fancy wannabe fighting, but pragmatic stunts a la 'keep-it-simple-but-effective'. Like with the Brosnan movies, this one shows a character that has its dark sides and is marked by his past. The cliffhanger is great, and I can't wait to see Bond take revenge for his loss, the love of his life for whom he already resigned from his job. What I also liked about this film was that there were no unneccesary macho sex scenes, something that was a little OTT with Connery (e.g. Never say never). I can't wait to watch Quantum Solace on Bluray!
